Gerald A. Kirk 77, was born in Springfield on October 29, 1937. Gerald passed away July 19, 2015 from cancer.
He was preceded in death by both parents, one brother, one sister and one son Lewis Kirk.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Kirk, one son Francis Kirk and wife Linda, one daughter in law Janette Kirk. Two grandsons Joshua Lorton and Zachary Kirk and his mate Melissa, and her two children Jamie and Kaiden, and one great granddaughter to be born in November. One sister Nancy Burroughs of Texas, also two honorary sons Wesley Dilley and Justin Taylor.
He loved to hunt and fish and lived the great outdoors.
He will be greatly missed by all.

Graveside services with military honors will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, 5201 S. Southwood, Springfield, Missouri.
Arrangements are under the care of Herman H. Lohmeyer Funeral Home, Springfield, Missouri.
